The Giving Mala Project

At Raw Mala, every bead is more than material. It is intention, connection, and light in motion. From the very beginning, this practice was about more than creating malas. It was about sharing energy, presence, and compassion in tangible form.

To reflect that spirit of giving, ten dollars from every mala sold is donated to organizations that bring hope, healing, and equality to others. Each mala you wear becomes part of a quiet circle of generosity, a ripple that extends beyond the self, helping to ignite someone else’s light.

Our Giving Philosophy

We believe that mindfulness is most powerful when it moves beyond meditation. Every Raw Mala is a reflection of that belief, art with purpose created by hand and offered with heart.

The Giving Mala Project represents our ongoing mission of intentional giving. Alongside our regular donations, we will release a special edition mala for each featured cause. One hundred percent of the proceeds from these limited malas will be donated directly to the organization they honor. Each special edition piece will embody the spirit and symbolism of its cause, becoming a true collaboration between art and purpose.

Transparency is part of our practice. Donations are made quarterly and shared with our community through this page and our social channels, so together we can see the light we have created.

Organizations We Support

The Trevor Project: Supporting and affirming LGBTQ+ youth through crisis intervention and suicide prevention.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP): Creating a culture that is smarter about mental health and giving hope to those affected by suicide.

Susan G. Komen Foundation: Advancing breast cancer research, awareness, and support for survivors and families.

National Alliance on Mental Illness: (NAMI) Providing education, advocacy, and community for individuals and families impacted by mental illness.

RAINN: Helping survivors of sexual violence find healing, justice, and a voice through advocacy and support.

More organizations will be added as Raw Mala continues to grow and expand its circle of giving.
